These Thumb Locks are often used on boats and caravans to secure equipment so that it does not move during transit. One adhesive base is attached to the piece of equipment. Another base is attached to the surface. The Locking Strap is then fed between the two bases. Each base is then clicked shut and the equipment is fixed into position.
Thumb Locks can just as easily be re-opened when equipment needs to be moved.
Straps are available in 100ft (30.5m) rolls but can be cut to size depending on order quantities.
Typical applications include caravans, boats, electrical appliances, fuel tanks, storage containers, boarding ladders, fishing rods, marine electronics, ropes, doors and hatches.
